Transit’s public consultations

In total, around 1% of the city’s population was consulted about the Master Transit Plan between 2019 and 2020.

We’ve done the research and have the details to prove it.


How we were informed

In February,

people living on Arlington St. received paper notices in their mailboxes.

Shortly After,

the city held a few public presentations, sparsely attended.

Now we’re taking the concerns to City Hall

  • We met with Councillor Cindy Gilroy.
  • We rallied residents to attend a public meeting with
    • Councillor Cindy Gilroy 
    • Councillor Janice Lukes
    • a representative from Winnipeg Transit 
    • and a representative from Public Works.
  • We were asked to provide suggestions to address residents’ concerns.
  • We’ve been meeting with residents, businesses, and community organizations.
  • We’re presenting at City Hall on June 11.
